VIVIENNE
MACKINDER
Known as the hairdresser’s hairdresser, Vivienne Mackinder is one of the most highly respected international leaders and innovators in the hairdressing profession today. Vivienne is driven by her mission not only to continually hone her own artistry and creativity but to uplift the spirit and the image of the profession as well.
Currently based in the Hamptons, New York, Vivienne grew up in London where she attended the London College of Fashion. Upon graduating she immediately landed a position with Vidal Sassoon, eventually becoming his artistic director. In 1990, she left London for the U.S. and the chance to work with Trevor Sorbie as his International Creative Director.
Vivienne’s career as a master stylist has been marked by numerous distinctions and achievements. In addition to her latest honor, the 2014-2015 International AIPP award, “Leo Passage Educator of the Year”, awarded by Intercoiffure, she is a five-time winner of the North American Hairstyling Award (NAHA) (including “Masters”), a three-time winner of the prestigious IBS Editor’s Choice Award and a recipient of the North American Hair Styling “Lifetime Achievement” Award, bestowed in 2009.

Joseph Cartright is a New York City-based fashion and beauty photographer. With a background in engineering, visual and music production he brings a unique blend of artistic creativity and production prowess to his creative endeavors. He has taught at Parson’s School of Design and given seminars at events for Apple and Microsoft and, currently contributes as Creative Director at LIVID Magazine.
Joseph is one of the preeminent creative photographers in the beauty and luxury industry. Joseph has created advertising and branding campaigns for clients such as Victoria’s Secret, Ralph Lauren, L’Oreal, Escada, Wella, and many more. As an industry consultant, Joseph has consulted on the relocation of Macy's West Studios to the East Coast, Spiegel’s Image Creation Workflow, and much more.
Joseph Cartright surely knows how to captivate an audience. His “out-of-the-box” ideas make him stand out from among other Photographers in this genre.
